Plan Your Visit

There are several options for getting to the 2026 Buddha Birth Day Festival.​

 

Fo Guang Shan Chung Tian Temple is located at 1034 Underwood Road, Priestdale, Queensland 4127. ​

 

Chung Tian Temple has a private car park with around 200 free parking spots. However, we encourage you to consider other modes of transportation besides driving, such as public transportation, taxis, ride sharing, shuttle buses, or walking.

1  |  Public Transport

To plan your journey, visit translink.com.au or call TransLink on 13 12 30 and search Chung Tian Temple as your bus stop destination.

 

Taking bus route 578, 18 buses are running daily from Monday to Saturday from the Garden City Bus Station and Springwood Bus Station stopping outside the Fo Guang Shan Chung Tian Temple front gates.​​​​

2  |  Pick Up/Drop Off Zone

 

​There is a designated pick-up/drop-off area inside the temple ground. Please go around to the right and towards the back after you have entered the temple gate.​ If you are travelling by taxi/rideshare or coach, we highly recommend using this pick-up/drop-off area.

3  |  Parking

Parking is limited at Chung Tian Temple. We encourage you to consider transport alternatives such as public transport, taxi, rideshare.

(enter from Underwood Road)

  • 200 parking spaces (free parking)

  • 5 accessible parking spaces for permit holders

  • Operates during festival hours

5  |  Park'n'Ride

Parking at Rochedale Busway station is available and Chung Tian Temple shuttle busses will be available every 30mins. 

On Saturday, this option from the bus station will be available from 9am to 8pm. On Sunday, the service will be available from 9am to 4:30pm. 

4  |  Accessibility

2025 Buddha Birth Day Festival is wheelchair accessible.

We aim to ensure that every visitor has a memorable experience and has the ability to partake in and enjoy all events.

 

The festival is committed to providing suitable access for our visitors, whatever their individual needs may be.

 

This includes:

  • Accessible parking with five designated accessible parking spaces for permit holders. This area is located outside of the Water Drop Tea House.

  • Ramps to all levels

  • Lift between Stage 1 and Stage 2

  • Tactile indications on pathways

  • Accessible toilets on all levels

  • Wide access doors to all rooms

  • Friendly volunteers to assist with your visit
     

The Chung Tian Temple has received further accreditation as an Accessible Tourist Destination by the Australian Tourism Export Council. ​​​​
